o0o0o0o00ops Learning or Acquiring?

what is the difference between learning a new language or acquiring a new language?let us remember the small child when he or started to acquire a new language is he learning a new language too? yes he or she is doing so. Acquiring a language happens subconsciously without a teacher ,teaching ,rules ,homework ,exams or classroom. This is equal to the children who acquire their first language so they develop their abilities by themselves and the meaningful  interaction with their environment .They don't need to learn grammar and how to use the function words and the basic rules but pick up the language .They care for the message they want to speak not the form of the language.
Learning is the process when the child have the knowledge consciously with grammar rules of the new language (second language) .The have to apply it in the production of this language. In our country they the students study the  English language as a second language via going to school and have English classes , exams  and assessment .

  1. I have received a full course discussing the debate whether a language is acquired or learned within time. I have came to a conclusion that a language is mainly learnt throughout the different age levels. I strongly admire and follow Piaget's levels and divisions in which he explained that different stages of learning a language. We can't deny the differences in ability, experience and even love of the language and how they affect the learning of it.
