Teaching Diploma
This is my fourth year in teaching English as a foreign language in a private school.I have started learning TD since the last year.During the last and this year i have changed a lot.I have discovered many essential and important things in teaching . I have discovered that patience is the key for a good teacher and good teaching.TD gave me the microscope to see many details i was not paying attention to them.I started to have more deep look in every step i do in my class and during the lesson.I feel blessed when i see my students are very attentive and enjoying the lesson .I have learned my new methods in managing my students behavior which reflected a great difference between my first year and in those two years of teaching.I became more creative in how to use the texts, the stories , the class materials ,preparation and the rules of the classroom and the school.I started to feel the skillfulness of teaching.I feel my self more specialized in teaching .Year after year , i can feel the pleasure of teaching is increasing and inspiring me toward proficiency .I think every one can teach but not every one can feel the pleasure of teaching.I always hear my colleagues are nagging about teaching and i never heard one teacher is saying something nice about it.Teaching from heart is very rare these days .I advise every teacher to have the TD courses in order to feel the pleasure of teaching.

You're right nadia; teachers need to teach from their hearts to enjoy teaching and I can tell that you do teach from your heart. Best of wishes in your teaching and in your studies.
ReplyDeleteActually i guess all of us have changed alot after taking the TD courses since we were able to evaluate our teaching methods and the way we deal with our students, further we were able to change lots of the techniques we've been using..so i agree with u nadia
ReplyDeleteTeaching Diploma really influenced each one of us, the courses we took changed our thoughts about teaching and students. All teachers blame students for not having good grades or high achievement none of them would blame themselves for not finding the suitable ways of presenting the information properly. Teachers should be aware how to deliver the material to students and how to motivate them and to stimulate their curiosity, TD helped us in discovering the tiny things that might allow students be more engaged in learning. Teachers have a mission which is to change the attitude of students toward schooling and to make it more positive.
ReplyDeleteReally Teaching Diploma made us to improve ourselves to teach properly, which as a result will make our teaching more efficient, and students will understand easier. They will reach success.
ReplyDeleteThe courses we have been taking in the TD program have changed each and everyone of us. We are now aware of the theories behind the practices we implement. We know the suitable time to apply a particular strategy and not another. We have learned new methods of teaching which are very effective and have made our classes places that are more fun to be in.
ReplyDeletei guess all of us we have learned new things or we have seen things that was blind for us i felt like this major is used in my job more than my major where not all of what i learned is applicable there
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely each one of us benefits form the TD program. The courses we are taking is teaching us a lot, in terms of dealing with students, in classroom management, and also in assessing. So the purpose of the Teaching Diploma program is to prepare school teachers.This program is designed to serve to both the freshly out of school, inexperienced graduate and the teacher who has already had some experience.
