The pleasure of Teaching

What makes teaching pleasurable? did you ever ask your self or another teacher this question?i think it is how each teacher looks to her or his career .Of course they have different perspectives. Many of us teach for money and to have a good life some how or to have some money for her or his family or kids .I think those don't feel the pleasure of teaching .They have overloaded days with exhausted bodies and minds. Some of teachers have depression because the lack of teaching pleasure.I think it is just a kind of life punishment to wake up early and go to a place full of mess and loud voices ,stress and anxiety.I rarely hear teachers say that they love this career or they feel the pleasure of teaching students, i don't know why .Its my forth year in teaching and i'm gladly speaking i feel the pleasure of teaching year after year .Teaching diploma 's courses are the source of this feeling and this self confidence .I am happy because i really know what i am doing but sometimes i think that Teaching is one of the most careers that make depression ,don't u think this too?

  2. Teaching is truly an exhausting job. There are so many aspects that need to be taken into consideration. Each class has about 30 students, each with a different personality, different interests, strengths, weaknesses and learning styles. A teacher must keep all these factors in mind when planning her lessons in order to adhere to all students needs, She must be aware that some discipline techniques that work with particular students do not work with others, A teacher must also be prepared for unexpected situations. These factors make our job difficult. HOWEVER, there is a pleasure in teaching. When you work hard on planning a certain lesson and your students make remarkable products, you forget all about the sleepless nights you spent planning your activities. Teaching is enjoyable when you do it right.

  3. The main problem faced by today’s teacher is that they feel students are loosing interest in studies. If we look from the student’s perspective then students feel that whatever is taught to them in schools is boring. Being a teacher, I faced these problems and tried to solve them. In a class of 25-30 students there may be more than 15-20 hobbies now the teacher’s job is to get together these hobbies with their studies. For instance some students have a hobby to collect stamps, so the history teacher can ask them to to bring all stamps with famous personalities printed on it in that way the lesson can be made interesting.
